Comforting harmonies and candid lyricism are what fuels Josephine’s passion for songwriting. From pop tracks about breaking free from society’s expectations and prejudices, to more sinister balads about alcohol addiction, Josephine’s writing conveys strong emotions that are painfully honest and relatable, characterized by taboo subjects such as addiction, bullying, depression and suicide.

Her powerful, yet delicate voice has an operatic timbre to it and is accentuated by the Belgian accent, giving a different spin to the Americanized vocabulary. Josephine describes her style as “dark pop”, usually containing synths, drums, bass and layered vocals all coming together to create a sultry, mysterious, dark, sensual vibe.

Making herself vulnerable to make others feel seen, she’s destined to be the voice of the unheard.

Josephine draws inspiration from artists like Billie Eilish, Tate McRae, Dylan, Demi Lovato, Ariana Grande, Gabbie Hanna, NF and Eminem.
